NZ operations
Customers ATM's New Zealand operations are handled by New Zealand ATM Services Limited (NZATM), which Customers ATM owns 47.75 per cent of.
NZATM launched a pilot of New Zealand's first convenience ATMs in 2008 and progressed to full deployment of its orange ATMs throughout the country in early 2011. This followed an agreement by ANZ National Bank Limited to allow its cardholders to use NZATM's network.
NZATM currently has almost 300 ATMs throughout New Zealand with 600 expected by early 2012. In total, the NZ market is expected to support 2000-2500 convenience ATMs.
New Zealand is an attractive growth opportunity for Customers ATM, allowing it to leverage its core assets, including its resources, infrastructure and buying power.
